Congratulations to senior Paige Weiss, who has signed a letter of intent to further her academic and athletic career at the University of Findlay, where she will play golf.


Mr. Ortman & Mrs. Scior recently held a Principal Advisory Committee meeting with student representatives from each grade level. The principals received feedback on current student incentives and suggestions for future initiatives to improve the culture of our school community.

For MS or HS girls interested in wrestling, there is a girls-only wrestling camp on November 13 from 2:45 to 4:45 PM in the Westfall Wrestling Room (Old WMS Gym). Stop by and discover why girls' wrestling is the fastest-growing high school sport in the country!

Kaiden Adams (9) Kaiden always has a smile on his face. He consistently works hard in class and is respectful. He always strives to do his best. He is polite, kind to peers, and eager to help others.

Haley Spangler (10) Haley is a student who works hard without complaint and maintains a great attitude. She is a go-getter with amazing critical thinking skills. She strives to understand the content and does so until she makes a relevant connection.
Landon Yang (10) Landon leads by example in class. He is diligent, respectful to others, pleasant, cooperative, and bright. He makes class better each day because he is always helpful.
Robbie Cox (11) Robbie is a polite young man who works hard in class. He always does what is asked of him.
Sam Daum (12) Sam has a great personality. He helps whenever he can and is always helpful. He is a leader who leads by example and is a role model to his peers.
We would also like to recognize our amazing science department this month: Callen Logan, Karlie Gill, Megan McDowell, Matt Greenlee, and Kevin Pullins! Thank you for all you do!



Sophomore students will visit Pickaway Ross Career & Technology Center on Tuesday, November 12, to explore the program labs available.
Students who wish to apply to Pickaway Ross are encouraged to attend their Open House on Thursday, November 14, from 5:00–7:00 PM at 895 Crouse Chapel Road, Chillicothe, OH 45601.
Application forms will be available on November 12 through the Pickaway Ross webpage via FinalForms. Students and their parents/guardians must create separate accounts on the PRCTC FinalForms site. Parents/guardians must create their account first, and both the parent and student accounts must be completed for the application to be processed.
If your student is interested in applying to Pickaway Ross after the November 12 tour, please submit the application by the priority deadline of January 24, 2025.

Next week kicks off bowling season! Our first practice is Thursday, November 7 from 3:30 – 5:00 @ Shawnee Lanes. Practice is for anyone who has signed up or anyone that has interest in joining.


Westfall's Drug-Free Club members had the privilege of participating in the Drug-Free Clubs of America Rally in Chillicothe. Over 1,500 students, advisors, and chaperones filled the streets of downtown Chillicothe, marching to the courthouse to celebrate efforts to remain drug-free. Students took to the stage to share personal stories of how drugs affected their lives and celebrated success stories of how they have chosen to live a drug-free lifestyle.

Advisors from our National Honor Society had the incredible opportunity to attend Friday's Leadership & Ethics Conference at AMVETS. They collaborated with students from three other Pickaway County schools and engaged in team-building activities, which promoted leadership and ethical growth.
It was inspiring to see students come together, share ideas, and develop skills to help us all lead with integrity. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!



Our Community Service Class is getting ready for the holidays! Their current focus is Veterans Day on November 11. Students created woven baskets and handmade cards for Pickaway County Veterans. They have also packed candy and cards to pass out at our Veterans assembly at WHS.


Westfall Middle and High Schools invite all veterans to join us on November 11 at 8:45 AM in the Westfall High School gymnasium to honor your service with a Veterans Day Assembly.

This year, Westfall FFA is providing support to those affected by the hurricane in North Carolina through the distribution of relief baskets. This initiative will run from October 21 to November 13. See below for donation ideas!
