Our English Department took approximately 50 students (grades 9-12) to Teays Valley yesterday to participate in the Dayton Literary Peace Prize Author Series. Students enjoyed a coffeehouse-style discussion with author Alexander Starritt about his book We Germans. Eight students then went to the Pickaway County Library and engaged in a more in-depth conversation/discussion with the author, asking questions and getting a copy of their book signed.
